Spring Open House Reminder!
Just a quick note to to remind everyone of our Spring Open House this Friday, March 30 from 11:00-6:00 & Saturday, March 31, from 10:00-2:00.
We have been busy finding unique folk art items for your garden, little herb pot dolls, stichery's, pin keeps, dolls, bunnies, baskets and more. We have Jewelry by Jes and new handcrafted items from Cynthia. We hope you are able to stop by for a visit.
We will continue to add new items every week and don't forget our 2nd Annual Gathering On The Lawn is July 7 this year. More information on that later. I thought I would give you a picture of a wool pin keep (pattern is from Pineberry Lane) that we will have available for sale.
There is also a Spring Thyme pin keep, a doll and one of our great totes. We have totes already decorated to set in your primitive home.

Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by for a visit. We hope to see you this weekend. Lynda

We are working really hard to have great new items for you to see.
I am also looking for another artist to bring into the shop. Everything must be primitive items handmade by yourself or a vintage item or antique. If you know someone who might be interested send me an email or give me a call. I would love to take a look at your work.

The weather has felt like Spring for the last few days, it has been wonderful. I love to let my walnut stained items dry in the sun. It gives them a really old look. We have many new items. And don't forget we have The Crows Corner calendar on sale for only $4.00. Some of the pictures from below are on the calendar. We also have the Spring issue of A Primitive Place.

New Projects
Just wanted to take a moment to say hello and tell everyone who reads my blog, or takes a peek at our on-line store, thanks. We are busy working on new items for our Spring Open House which is Friday March 30th from 11-6 and Saturday, March 31st from 10-2. For those of you who don't know, we have Cynthia Lancia (former co-owner of Creations in Fort Wayne)as a new artist ay The Crows Corner. She is busy making primitive items that will look great in your home. We have antiques, cupboards, old fabrics, pincushions, dolls, coverlets and so many more items. Another item that we will be highlighting is Jewelry by Jess and The Crows Corner Mercantile, with hand metal work by Jeneatte. We will be opening our shop on Etsy in March. We also have candles by Willow Haven Candles, with one of her new scents "Old Crow". May I say this is my new personal favorite.

As you can see, I have baskets with old fabrics and civil war reproduction prints just waiting to be used in one of my creations,
We are also going to have Americana and dolls, old bobbins, rag balls, wood bowls, stitchery, trenchers and some red, white and blue fabric form the early 1900's that was used as campaign banners. This fabric is just wonderful and would make a great statement draped on a window or displayed anywhere. We will have cut pieces ready to go and we can also cut custom sizes off the original spool.
So we hope to see you at our Open House and again thanks for stopping by, Blessings, Lynda

Red Fridays

In support of my son and others serving in the military. I would ask that anyone who can, wear red on Friday's to support our troops until they all come home. I am working on some pins that I will give away in support of wearing red on Fridays. When they are finished, let me know if you would like one. I think they will look something like this; If you are interested, just click on my email link and I will have one for you to pick up at The Crows Corner shop. If I have to mail the button, I will have to charge for postage. Thanks, Lynda
