Good morning, I hope this post finds everyone warm and well. I did some updates to our site at www.picturetrail.com/thecrowscorner . I hope you get a chance to visit. It has pictures of past items and other open houses. It also gives information on our Spring Open House, April 15 & 16, 2011 and our First Annual Gathering on the Lawn to take place in July.
I also listed some new items for sale on our online store at www.thecrowscorner.com or just click on the link. We have been very busy trying to find unique items. I have been handcrafting some items for Valentines Day as well as Easter and some special items for our Open House. We even have been gathering some unique new items for your garden. (Even though the garden is currently covered in snow. lol)
It seems my favorite thing lately is to make stitching rolls and pin keeps. Here are a few pictures of some of the work for the inside. I am trying to use early fabric but am not having much luck locating early pieces. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would love to find early calico's.
Well time to get to work in the shop and then this week creating as much as possible. I will try to post things as I get them finished. thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit. Blessings, Lynda

Coverlets Pieces
I have found some of what I think are beautiful early coverlet pieces. They are in the most vibrant colors of blues and reds. Once I get them all sorted, some will be sold as coverlet pieces while others will be turned into pillows. These are really great colors and designs. I will list them on www.thecrowscorner.com .
I have also found some vintage fabrics, boxes, sewing supplies, postcards, tin types, books that I can not wait to make into something wonderful for the shop.I plan on working on some of these items this weekend.
Thanks for stopping by, I hope everyone has a great weekend. Lynda

Good morning!
It was a chilly 7 degrees when I woke up this morning, Brrrrr. Just wanted to let everyone know that I posted new items on our online store at www.thecrowscorner.com.
I have also been working on some prim Valentine and Easter items. I am starting to list a few items for our Spring Open house on our picture trail, which is www.picturetrail.com/thecrowscorner. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I will continue to post items as they are completed.
I found some beautiful red and white and blue and white coverlet pieces from the late 1800's and early 1900's, still not sure what I am going to do with these. I have two early quilts in the shop and my husband is building some new cabinets out of reclaimed wood.
This picture is a small grouping of items for sale in the shop. Each item is sold separately. Thank you so much for taking the time to stop bye. Have a great week and stay warm!

A look toward spring!
We have been very busy looking for new primitive pieces for your home. And it is also time for us to start working on our handmade items for our Spring Open house. This year it will be Friday & Saturday April 15 & 16. I have been busy designing my own patterns and stitching designs. I will share a quick sneak peek at one item for Spring.
I better get back to my "real job". End of year reports, quarter end taxes, W-2's and all that goes along with our two Subway restaurant's. I will continue to work on items for the shop. If you are interested in something on our blog or at www.thecrowscorner.com, just email me for availability. Thanks for taking the time to stop by. Hope you can visit again soon.
