Its almost Christmas.....

I wanted to share a few vintage postcards with everyone!. I love to collect old postcards. This one was mailed in 1912. I really like the sentiment on it. I added the little sentiment at the bottom.

Here are few more that I thought you might like. Feel free to use them if you wish.
The postcard with the evergreen was mailed in 1910 and cost 1 cent to mail.

This next postcard was mailed in 1909.

The last postcard here was mailed in 1912 and still only cost one cent to mail.

I will be busy baking the rest of the week but will try to post some more pictures. I do want to thank all of our friends, followers and customers for a great 2010. I am still busy hand crafting one of a kind items for your home and look forward to seeing everyone after the first of the year. God Bless to all!

So very, very cold!

It is really cold outside today, so I decided to stay inside and take some pictures.
This is a soap bag with primitive soap balls and a sprig of greenery. Beside this bag is an old blue bottle with another sprig of greenery.

My husband used some old wood and door hinges. The hinges hold balls of string and there is enough room in the back to hold a jar of buttons.

I also love to collect old cutting boards and noodle boards. The one that has the crack in it belonged to my mother.

I also love punch needle. I made this one a few years ago. I also love to make birds like this cardinal in the tree.

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas....

It' almost that time of year. Here in Edgerton we are having a beautiful snowfall. God's creation of beauty is truly humbling.

Christmas shopping is almost done. Holiday baking has started and I am still making items for the shop. I have made a couple more of these wreaths as requested, if anyone is interested they are $24.00. The bells on them are antique sleigh bells. (maybe from Santa's sleigh) lol

I wanted to go outside and take a few pictures with the new fallen snow to share with you. It always amazes me how snow transforms everything into a Wynter Wonderland.

This picture is looking into our primitive garden. Even the keeper of the garden is covered with snow. In the forground is our clothline and the top fence rails are covered with fresh pine.

For those of you who have been wanting to see my clay face Santa's. I decided I would share a sneak peek with you of just his face. I am happy with the way this one turned out. I like his expression. I will post him here and on the online store when finished. If you are interested in him, keep checking back.

Be sure to check out www.picturetrail.com/thecrowscorner. We hope you will be able to stop by the shop (remember you can always call and we will be glad to open for you) or visit us online at www.thecrowscorner.com. Thanks for stopping by.

Brrrrrrrr.....

It was really cold this morning but I just can not resist taking pictures on a frosty morning.

As you can see, I love to decorate everything with fresh greenery. I love the smell of the pine and look that it gives.

Friends Stop by and The first snowfall in Edgerton, Ohio

Hi, I wanted to thank everyone that stopped by on Saturday to visit with Santa. I thought I would share some pictures of our friends.

I had to grab my camera early this morning to share some pictures of the first snowfall. It is truly amazing. The little kitten's name is Rambo. He seems to love the snow. He and his sister Baby Girl and Mama all live in our garden. They are so much fun to watch.

Even the lavender takes on a whole new look when dusted with snow.

We are still handcrafting items and finding one of a kind primitives for your home so be sure to check out the new items at www.thecrowscorner.com. I am also going to start some new albums on picture trail.com/thecrowscorner so you will be able to see what we have made in the past.
